Valentine's is in the corner and I've been thinking about it like a lot A LOT!!! As you guys haven't known, I am and always will be a sucker for love and romance!!! And since I'm pretty sure that my valentine's day wouldn't be me planted in my couch, having googly eyes with my date pillow while watching a classic movie, I must look and come up with a very big ass surprise this season of love. And I like it when my partner does surprises for me too, I've always love kick-ass Valentine's day! I wish my boyfriend reads this, (coughs! coughs!)
I've found some lists of interesting stuffs that might help me have my best valentine's yet! And decided to share the wealth by posting it here on my blog.
Here are lists of unique and fun things you could do this valentine's day.
Surprise Visit
-technically, I would say that this is the simplest and yet one of the best gifts you could give on Valentine's. Why not pretend to work late or got help up at school then suddenly appear on her door step with flowers and chocolates, but I prefer butter scotch. LOL
Take a Cooking Class
-so I'm not really gonna be needing this since I love cooking, I just love it I wanna kill myself right now for not taking up culinary. :( Cook him/ her with their favorite meal and add music and scented candles, God! That is just so sweet.
Learn Something New Together
-I'm pretty sure that you couples has talked about something you both wanted to try so bad but haven't had the time since you are both busy, well Valentine's day is the perfect day to try something new.
Make a Homemade Valentine
-like the second point, homemade valentine is just so sweet. If you don't have time to take cooking class and has no idea on the kitchen, why not get a takeout on his/her fave restaurant for dinner then watch your all time fave movie or anything you couples wanna do. It's more intimate if there's no other people sitting around you.
Valentine's Day on a different day
-not everyone has time on February 14, fret not because Valentine's day doesn't have a specific date. You could show love to your better half everyday.
Get it Framed
-document every second with him/her. Valentine's day only comes once a year. Of course as I said earlier, you could show them you love them everyday of your lives but I don't know it gets a little bit sweeter on Valentine's. :)
Make it all about him/her
-make sure that there is no outside force to distract your attention from your partner, this should take effect not only on Valentine's but on every date. No annoying calls from your boss, no single bitter friends to walk to your place or any other distraction. I am 101% it will ruin the day.
Provide a Service
- is there anything your partner supposedly has to do but haven't had time to do it? Why not do it for them. It's not that grand but I'm pretty sure they'll appreciate it a lot. Like maybe renew their expired passport or do the laundry, or go to the grocery.
Scavenger Hunt
- practically the title says it all, go scavenger hunting and the price is you, or something really dear to your partner.
Indoor Picnic
-Sometimes the weather
may be so bad that you really do not want to go outside. How can you
create a wonderful Valentine's Day if the weather ruined your chance to
get the supplies? Have an indoor picnic! You can use simple foods that you have at home already. Spread out a
blanket, light some candles and then eat on the floor together. Soon you
will forget that you're in your own home!
Soooo? Any valentine ideas you got there? Feel free to comment here and share the love!!! <3 XOXO
